did you hear more than one bang, Jo? i only heard one... but my picture is freeding from time to time so why not sound as well.

at 15:11 there was also something that made birds fly away but i didn't hear anything then.

there was somebody shooting but I also heard only one shoot so fare!! but eagles flew away

Yes, I heard two. First seemed loud and close. Second one was lightly more muffled, as though a bit distant. But I have heard similar sounds, less noisy, during today.

And then there is that woodpecker, trying to sound like a machine gun -

i have had the sound so low... i've been listening to what is going on at the nest. i think i heard some very distant eagle calls there....

It sounded as though, perhaps one man was giving directions o others. Not sure. I didn't hear "others"

15:57 the other young had something yummy in the back.

and there's a ringed eagle!
was it blue over red in the country ring? it would be Lithuania...
white over red on the year ring so that is 2008.

He didn't come close enough to be identified, then they all flew off again.

yes, there was some disturbance again.

let's hope it'll come back. the ravens stayed so it should be a good sign for eagles.

i took some snapshots of the video. the country ring really looks like blue over red so this is our first Lithuanian eagle.


and it looks like there's number 6 on the lower stripe of the year ring ...?
