I think there was something else but....

I just heard an eagle calling
And I see there are lots of gulls on the ice at the left edge.

Alice you were faster. I also wanted to say that I heard an eagle call and I love the singing of the seals.

What a dark day there!

Ct 14.52. This could be very dangerous for the baby-seal when
eagles come...
Has somebody seen the baby drinking?

Stealing would be impossible I hope and think, but it could get wounded if the eagles try to kill and eat it..or is that thought too anxious?
Can mother-seals defend their young ones? Good thing that there are no foxes
on the island.. (if I remember correct).

There had been one, who came over the ice 2 or 3 years ago or so ... what happened to him after the ice melted I don't know ...

Video is not the best quality, but decided to upload it inspite of that

Yes just now, but I am also watching and wondering if this is normal behaviour lying around for such a long time ... hopefully both are ok and only exhausted!?

Right now they were rolling a bit - both

It´s a seal baby, probably it is sleeping much - like all babies, also animal babies? :puzzled:
And lying quiet is saving energy ..... they might have fat enough around their bodies to not get too cold .... :puzzled:
Only guessings ....
