18:57 cam went off, Linda was sitting still there, not in the bowl, but still on the nest ... well. I guess I have to start my PC before going to work tomorrow morning!

airras, what do you find strange? We do expect the first egg now any time and Linda staying on the nest when the cam went off sparks our hopes for an egg being in the nest by tomorrow!

Nice to see Linda sitting in the nest before the cam went to sleep. Maybe it is really an egg arriving :headroll: :whistling: ?

We are a little surprised too, but it seems to be serious now!
A few of the articles on the Looduskalender page are also translated to Spanish, look here: http://www.looduskalender.ee/es/node/15929

after she got up Linda has been standing on the backside of the nest and looking out over forest.
Image

there have been few voices of a raven and a woodpecker has started working there. earlier two dogs exchanged their good mornings. i agree with Felis: it must be cold. it looks like it but i've also heard cracks and snaps from the forest when wood breaks in frost.
