I keep hearing cranes, but with so many cameras open, I don't know where the sound is from!
Can anyone tell me, please?

I'm sorry,I cannot help. I was focused to the lovely "bird-sound" on the Latvian-WTE-nest  .

i have heard cranes from here today. i think i posted a sample earlier... cranes have been also at Juras-Erglis for some days. most of the time it is difficult to know where the voices come from.

it's getting dark... soon the camera will turn off.

21:06 the camera turned off. the nearly last picture where something can be still seen at 20:56

I also have many cams open, but then I close one by one, I think the cranes, which I also heard, were here on this one!

day 27 (24, 21½ ?)

it's still misty! :slap:
usually the warmth produced by the camera dries up the lens rather soon after turn-on. this must be mist in the forest itself.
Linda is mainly looking to the back... some crows are calling.

7:22 Linda got up to stretch her legs and turn the eggs. then she carefully backed to the rim of the nest and pooped overboard. apparently she was content or at least relieved because she kaa-kaa'ed loud after the operation.

the sound comes again much too early, even in a video as short as this. :slap: :faint:

Linda got up and rolled the eggs again at 7:59; she turned around in the nest and settled down facing away from us.

wow!! middle of big scene!! linda was circling around chasing (i think) a big hooded crow. currently she is on the branch by the nest, crow is over the road so to speak and sulev is in the nest watching

edit: crow went (as i posted), linda came to the nest and pulled sulev's feathers :loveshower: :loveshower:

and now he has gone and just called from afar

:loveshower: cool work 8-)

edit: it all took place very quickly - 9.30 - 9.33 (eagle cam time)
