it seems that Sulev found something to eat on the rim of the nest. maybe it is bones and other remains of the bird the other day? or did he bring it?
i could not see...
i made a slowmotion video (1/3 speed of normal) of Sulev's arrival to better see if he brought something. i think he came 'empty-handed' and found some old bones on the nest.
linda has come back. i think she brought some hay... she arrived at 19:12 and had a bite to eat on the rim of the nest. she whistled and coo-ed at sulev, he cheeped back - i wonder if he was saying 'i'm not getting off'! a bit more whistly persuasion from linda and he flew off - they then called to each other from afar.
I *think* it was Linda on the nest - Sulev arrived with a bunch of grass in his right foot. He dropped it in front of Linda, and she called softly to him and arranged the grass in front of her.
Then she got up and flew off to the left, and Sulev settled over the eggs. A few distant eagle calls were hears, and Sulev replied.
ooops, I see I have them backwards in my post! Linda brought the hay, ate a bite, Sulev left ...
linda rolls the eggs a bit and changes position - i think they both like to have 'spare' hay - each time they shift position they like to 'plug the gaps', no?
edit: 20:12 eagle cam time - i heard a flock of birds flying by - mute swans?
