Linda called lound earlier. i think that on the first time a flock of crows and gulls flew too close to the nest.

7:30 she called again ..but nothing. again at 7:36 the finally she called, got up and streched.
Image

and called more. it has been raining in the morning: she had raindrops on her back.

:hi: I really enjoyed watching the video of Linda swallowing the fish sideways! Thank you, Ame.

I think she wanted to hurry up and eat so that she could squeak, whistle and beep a little more with Sulev. She loves talking and I love hearing her. So sweet and funny. :D

it's so nice to hear voices of birds there. now some mute swans flew over ...

a while ago cranes called and then some whooper swans, too. just a few minutes ago a curlew called. i heard that once in the morning, too. yesterday evening a common snipe called a few times. those are the kind of voices i have been waiting for to hear here for a long time... :innocent:
here at 12:32 are the cranes and swans.

i think it is Sulev in the nest, patiently lying down and looking like he isn't even waiting for Linda. he kind of looks like he knows that Linda is going to stay away long today. maybe Sulev "knows" that she will be fishing long today to compensate yesterday's bad weather...

now there was some SPLAT_SPLAT_SPLAT-sound... swans taking off water? 8-)

13:02 Linda came and she brought a load of stuff with her. it seems to be very long hay or reed...
Image

Sulev stretched his wings and took off. he called good-by next to the nest.

in the video the sound comes again well before action. there was a strange rattling/clacking sound before the sound of Linda landing.. what was it??

O, yes, of course! And I already thought, it is a horse, but for it the noise was too short. :slap:

In which distance do the next waters lie? Is it already the sea?

the sea should be seen from the nest if i remember right.

i think that all the white in front of the "horizon" in the upper left corner is sea. that is were i thought i saw blue water once... we'll have wait a little more to see the sea. :whistling:

but those splatting sounds must be geese or swans or some other heavy birds splatting in water.

13:08 a lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) called twice when Linda turned eggs.

could the strange clacking have been cranes clacking their beaks against each other? there was a similar sound a little later... now i have the crane calls. they must be somewhere quite below the nest, they are so loud.
in the beginning of their calls there is a GRRR...-sound in the beginning of the call.

i got some sort of a video clip. it looked like an eagle. it flies over right in the beginning and i can't take proper snapshots of it.
edit: i did a trick: i first uploaded the video to the Tube, then downloaded it back. The Tube fixes the blurred beginnings of videos so from the downloaded version i could take a clear snapshot.
it seems to be an eagle alright, probably Sulev.

Linda is calling again. it must be Sulev showing a Flying Circus to Linda. 8-)

Linda called and called... and then finally at 16:10 Sulev landed. he brought a fish.
Image

i could not see if there was someone following Sulev. they both looked up and out and Linda kept screaming... there was something that Linda was not happy about (hubby-husband said that maybe Linda had wanted a salmon and Sulev brought this lousy little fish. )
maybe she was hungry and Sulev came late?
Image

those looks Linda gave to Sulev...
