Juta tells that there is a warning of extreme heat in inland areas, in Estonia today.
These ospreys maybe high enough to catch a breeze, but we wish them well.

Wow!
Ilmar brought a fish, immediately there were Kaido and Irma in the nest, very interested in this fish as Kenno was. But ..... Irma captured it and flew to the dinnertree. The kids were left with nothing and ranted a bit.

Second time this morning Irma takes fish and doesnot return it to Kenno. Kaido can follow mother or father... Could it be that Irma wants Kenno to starve a little bit? to be able to fledge easier...

Irma (I think) on the camsupport, yelling and warning - we can see at the shadows that she is fluttering.
Kenno is flat on the nest.

Looks like the one in the dead tree is Kaido.

Little before she came on the cam stand, something flew over the nest really low. It was so fast that I couldn't see what it was, but it was not eagle. Maybe some scavenger checking Kaari's body

That could very well be the case indeed. Kaari's body looks less and less like an osprey as the decaying process continues.
I fully agree with the descision by Kotkakluubi not to remove Kaari's body because Kaido and Kenno were/are so close to fledging and that removal would be an unnecesary disturbance and stress for them, but now there might indeed be a risk that scavengers get attracted to it, and Kenno hasn't fledged yet, so if a flock of crows or ravens, or even a white tailed eagle (WTE's are known to scavenge too) decides to come have a look, things could get ugly.

I've also noticed that the birds are becoming less carefull with Kaari's body. Especially the first days they avoided stepping on it (although it happened a few times in a way as siblings tend to step on each other in a crowded nest) and at least both remaining siblings on several occasions showed interest and were investigating the body, but the last two days things seem to have changed. I think that they don't see Kaari's dead body as a sibling anymore, but that they now see Kaari's remains as a part of the nest, as a part of the furniture to say it bluntly. Interesting for the amateur scientists and neutral observers, but maybe also a bit hard to watch for the emotionally attached people.

18:24 Kaido instead of eating the stolen fish watched Kenno while she was trying to eat some leftover fishghettis. Too proud to eat the fish, he just had stolen, or jealous of Kenno for having delicious desert?
