Those illuminated rocks are a good guide to the position of the sun.
Sunset was at 21.04.
Back to the drawing board!

Thank you Jo UK for the information. That's quite interesting. Can you give us more detailled Information please? Greetings from Germany to the UK.

Lena101 - I don't have any more information than is shown in those pictures that Bea posted. As they are taken only a few seconds apart, and as the sun set one hour and twenty minutes previously, we have to assume that someone is illuminating some of the rocks, for artistic effect.
It is an attractive view. Looking at the shape of the rocks, we can see that only part of the rock at the base of the pole on the right, is illuminated. Maybe the Museum staff are controlling and moving the light? Perhaps there will be a repeat performance tonight, and we can study the effect again.

It almost seems that it is illuminated from within! So bright!
Someone has done some clever work there.

The glowing rock looks great, but I would like to know, how they do it. Therefore I wrote a mail to the museum in order to find out. I hope, I will get an answer.

May be phosphor? Like in watches so you can see the time at night? Or solar cell light? Or combined ... Curious

I had to look for the webcam this night... I am NOT surprised after yesterday's nightly activities in front of the cam.
What have I done?? Phosphor? That must be ART.
Stay on the bottom, folks, take it easy, it's a fun! Enjoy it - however long the lighting is to watch!
Somebody has discovered our enormous reactions on those illuminations and now they are doing it again! What else??
If not known: Estonians are very modest people, they don't make much words - do they, Jo UK?
