Ouha - no good sign
It is still not online again - we have to get prepared that boar-season is coming to an end - now that that birds are re-migrating and nest cams are needed on other places ....

I don't think it is the end of the season, because it is too early and the lights weren't turned off. Must be some technical problems.

Hello IceAge,
we still don´t know what happened ....
When the transmission from the feeding place ends, the camera is moved to another place, to one of the camera birds nests.
Just a guess - as this winter is/was not a real one and many migrating birds have already begun her way back, the season here at the boars cam may end earlier than usual.
And it is also always a point of the temporal possibilities of the person who moves the cam to the nest .... when there is time available, one has to go and do the tasks ...

I'll try to translate as well as I can:
Yesterday we lost connection to the camera. Last few weeks lumberjacks have disturbed the peaceful wildlife. Yesterday lumberjacks towed a trailer out of the woods, and the ripped broken the Internet cable, and the antenna. We have no possibility to report it to somewhere, because we don't have enough signs on that closed road, to indicate the max height of vehicles. Last year similiar thing happened.
The boars have nests where they can give birth, 2 brownbear tracks have been noticed in Ilmatsalu, and 6-headed Moose "gang" is moving around.
Thanks to all the people who have watched the camera, and been active in the forum. See you next winter.

Thanks Braien, and welcome to the forum!
Sad to hear this, but it can't be changed. Making all the wires and cables and stuff new would take too long, the camera most probably will go to one of the bird nests soon.
The salt pole did not fall this year, we either had a very sturdy one or very lazy boars A novelty were also the plates, our pigs are a noble gang, dining off plates! Although they have not completely understood the system of eating off plates, they are not sunk into mud afterwards!
Thanks to Mait for feeding the pigs every day, be it cold or muddy! Have a good summer and see you next winter! Thanks also to everyone else, the kindergarten children collecting acorns, the food donors ... We have enjoyed a short and muddy, but interesting season!

*sigh*
Same misfortune like last year ....
Many thanks to Ilmatsalu Hunters and especially to Mait, who supplied food every day!
Stay all healthy and safe - until next boar-cam-season!
Good bye!

Yes, this picture doesn't need any translation.
It is very sad that the cam closed so early(last year it happened only in the middle of April) but on the other hand, Seal cam was repaired and we can watch newborn white seals and the new deer camera appeared.

BOAR picture. She was a member in 2008 already and passed away on February 1th 2014, after having been only almost 3 weeks in Helsinki
in hospital.
May she rest in peace...

The picture that needs no translation.
It is sad to hear that the cam has to be discontinued early due to the lines being ripped out.
But we had a nice season, with lots of cheerful munching.
Thank you to all
