Good day! :hi: Thank you all for interesting photos and videos! 16:14. I hear a rustling next to the camera, as if someone something to eat. Or someone walking under the nest. The boar? :puzzled: Occasionally sings black woodpecker. :whistling:

16:51 eagles sang together very far.

and my camera went off. :faint:
now it starts being tricky again, like in the morning. on - off - on - off. :bash:

16:54 they sang much closer to the nest this time! :headroll:
16:56 more calls.
16:59 more calls.

17:04 even more calls. they are both somewhere near the nest. their voices have come from the same distance these four times.

edit: only on the last time they called long enough so that i could get a recording of part of it.

i have finished preparing complete playlists of March 16th and 17th and i added their addresses as well the addresses of the picture albums in my last mails of those days. pictures in the albums are in alphabetical order = time order (morning -> evening).

organizing videos in playlists in the current Y-tube set-up has to be made manually which takes ages. so i've given up that task. so the videos are there in more or less random order, but i hope that the title with the time helps to navigate there.

in the playlists i have included mainly only the clips which i have made of Pontu videos. their names are 'juras-erglis-date-time-description'. the names of the live recordings which i have made start with 'vlc-record-juras-erglis', followed by date, time and a short description.

an intruder on the nest!
Image

an un-ringed youngster.
Image

after having a good look at the nest and re-arranging nursery it jumped on the right branch and out of sight.

here's the Pontu clip of the visit. in the beginning there is a rustle of arriving wings... then it takes almost a minute and the youngster flies over the nest and after a few seconds it lands on the nest to have a closer look at it.

today was an invigorating day with two special guests: first an elk in the morning and then a strange young eagle in the evening. :shake:

there were also sounds of eggs being on the way, hopefully. let's keep our fingers crossed! :2thumbsup:

a raven came to say good morning to an eagle at home. i think it is Mr E..? he doesn't look happy at all.
i saw a black flash across the screen when i came to look what the crawing was about but failed to get a picture of the raven himself.

the raven is gone for good (the voice can't be hear) but Mr E (?) does still not look relaxed.

7:20 no, the ravens aren't gone yet. they are nearby but not quite at the nest.
