The wind is right today, hope Tiit will be back. But that egg, what does it mean? Repeating 2010 when the eggshell was found here under the nest?

It is very sad ...
Hope Titt arrive at any moment!

I think that at some point, as a result of the natural hormonal processes, the female's organism begins to produce eggs and then she has no influence on stopping this, regardless of she has a partner or not. Of course, such eggs are infertile, and hence useless.

Very  stupid question, because we are denied boarding with and observe all yes.
When a stork after migration to the true partner, is the first meeting held in the nest or outside, feeding place?
There are reports about?

Sorry Shanta, I don't really understand your question.

Yes Shanta, she chooses considerately the right distance between her hindquarters  and the cam.

I think I understand the second of the questions:

"When a stork after migration to the true partner, is the first meeting held in the nest or outside, feeding place?
There are reports about?"

I understand: Is there any studies whether the migrating birds meet first time after migration each other on feeding places or in the nests.
- I myself think that such details should be very difficult to study ...

The first "question": " because we are denied boarding with and observe all yes. " . I do not understand either...
Edit: maybe it concerns the rules between Documentation and Discussion threads???

Sorry Shanta, I don't really understand your question.
I think Shanta wants to know whether after migration the first meeting of a male bird and a female bird always takes place on the nest or maybe sometimes outside the nest, for instance on the feeding ground. :hi:

I'm no ornithologist, but I think it does not necessarily have to be on the nest. Of course a stork bonded to a nest will return first there.
The first "question": " because we are denied boarding with and observe all yes. " . I do not understand either...

The strict division into discussion and documentation we have - at least at the moment - only at the osprey nests.

So @ Shanta
- this BS thread is gathered to one thread only ...
:hi:

Osprey nests have two threads each, one for Observations/Documentations and one for Discussions

It looks so sad.
And such lovingly prepared nest.
She brought before some dry grass for the egg... Beautiful and patiently Tiina...
