The thing is back. Both eaglets have been frightened. It must be a bird.

good heavens! Makonite disappeared from sight!
first she was making some wing exercises, then my picture froze for a few seconds and then she was out.

i think i saw the tip of her wing in the right side of the picture. she must be on the outer right branch. Pukite looks quite calm.

yes, she jumped to the right branch.

around 10 am Makonite did some wing exercises and hoped to and from the left branch.

suddenly at 10:03 there were more than two pairs of wings in the nest: Sartas had come!

i think the fish is a pike. - and i think i keep hearing the voice of the strange bird from somewhere in the forest. i heard the same voice a few days ago and i couldn't figure out what it was... but i didn't get a voice sample either. a jay came to my mind then (but not a buzzard).
the Pontu clip is being processed now.

10:23 eaglets are looking in the back and whining.... actually it's Makonite whining. - the strange bird sound stopped when the eaglets began looking in the back.

10:28 Pukite took the fish and began to eat but Makonite kept on whining and jumped on the back branch. for a few seconds it looked like she'd fly away.

she went on whining there on the branch, looking to the left.. now she' quiet. almost.

The thing with warning (both youngsters) and a bird voice I heard also last evening. Both of them were intently looking around and following somebody (once I saw a black shadow behind, but the light was already very bad) flying around. Could it be that there is a hawk nest somewhere, it sounded a bit like begging calls from a goshawk. Or some other (smaller) bird of prey, buzzard? I'm not sure I heard one of the parents (Lubana, Sartas) then.
