Hello! :hi:

No, they didn't start yet for their journey.
Within 8-10 days our storklets are not able to do the migration.
I'm sure, they are still here in the surroundings but prefer meeting other young storks.
They like to explore all together the area. They need to exercise a lot to get more safety and confidence in their flying.
They must learn how to be aware of dangers, how to avoid obstacles, how to use the thermal so that they can save energie while flying... and so on... and so on
Not to forget: they must eat a lot - they will need a lot of energie!
I think, it will take about another 2 weeks until they leave Estonia.
It depends of the weather, the thermal and the direction of the wind!

In the meantime they might come back from time to time... :D

But for sure, the parents will come back to the nest for a couple of days - or longer. :shake:

Hello :hi:

No, Hellem, that must be a storklet. The beak of the parent stork is much longer!
