18:11 Aino visited the nest with a piece of fish http://193.40.124.24/2014-kalakotkas2-f ... -18-11.jpg
Is it a new fish or from the delivery at 17:47?

 As ill luck would have it, I have no own recordings from the afternoon, was out for longer and my recordings failed.

And until now there are no videos for today in the pontu archives .... no idea why. Perhaps they will still come later or tomorrow ....?
We´ll see ....

Since vlc player recordings did not work reliable, I was recording the flash player using a screenshot software. Just today flash player crashed a few times, so now I have some recordings of "The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed". :bash:

Anyway Ilmar delivered 14 fish to the nest excluding three possible deliveries which are still under investigation. 7:35 might be a leftover, but from 15:10 to 15:35 were two fish delivered. It's very difficult to see whether Aino took over from Elar or got a new one or whether Irma took one fish away. Since 15:10/11 was a fish in the nest and Kukelke saw Ilmar with a fish at 15:15, which was redelivered later.

Also today no videos for 14.08. available in the archive, no downloads possible to see what happened, bad luck.

So I counted all fish, that we were not sure about, as catches - because I think over the times we missed more deliveries than we counted too much.

Can it be that also this family is emigrating - is it perhaps advantageous winds that make them fly off this early?

They are still all here - even Irma, who would most likely be the first to migrate.

Watching your video, I think so too. Both are mantling, but not angrily calling. Maybe they don't know how to react as no Ilmar or Irma showed up. Last time (day before yesterday?) Ilmar came to the nest mantling and calling, Elar went flat and Aino mantling a bit.

Ilmar with a Mirror Carp, the whole family is on the nest. Irma wants to have it, but Aino pecks to her.
Ilmar solves the problem by taking of with it ...
To his own benefit, he ate some on the dead tree. Aino overwhelmed with protecting his/her own fish and fighting for the new fish. The instinct told him/her to peck at Irma, the contestant for the new fish.
