she ate only one piece. The great part is for the eaglets.
She flew to the left branch and preened thoroughly her beak.
at 20:54 she flew off

and then some engine noise: a motor boat? -tomorrow is Saturday again....
21:23 sound of ruffling feathers. i think someone is sitting next to the camera.

i have now some more Pontu clips from this morning.
7:17 Lubana brought a fish and she was followed by two loudly screaming eaglets. she fled the nest and then both eaglets seemed to have some food. i think that Makonite got the fresh prey and Pukite took some old piece of fish (whcih was from earlier this morning and not some ancient old dried piece).
both eaglets ate.
after Makonite had finished eating Pukite was still doing something on the front left corner and this began to annoy Makonite. so she pushed Pukite out of the nest and made some exercises on the corner herself. then she cleaned the nest... at 7:30 she got up to the left branch and soon Pukite returned to the nest. Makonite wasn't actually happy about this but she let Pukite stay.
7:32 Makonite returned to the nest. then they both cleaned odd pieces from the bottom and even found something to eat.

7:44 Pukite rubbed his bottom against the nest and then lay down. Makonite started preening.
7:53 Makonite got up on the left branch. at 8:31 she stretched... pooped.. then someone flew around the nest in the back of the forest. the eaglets noticed that but neither made a comment of it. at 8:33 Maonite flew away. Pukite stayed lying.
8:36 Pukite got up, looked around a while and flew away at 8:38.

10:24 Sartas made an express delivery but one of the eaglets was even faster than him: the eaglet landed on the nest a split second before Sartas. then Sartas left a split second before the other eaglet landed. the second eaglet kicked the first out of the nest and was left there alone squeaking frantically and seemingly without a prey. i'm still a bit confused about what happened there...?
did the eaglet who was kicked out take the prey with him/her? i don't even know who came in first and who stayed...
i even made a slowmotion clip of this delivery (1/3 speed of real) but i'm still not sure.
the sound in this latter clip may be quite silly so it might be best to turn the sound off.
this is as far as i got today. good night!

I have to 5:41:45 found a picture. An eaglet is in the nest and Lubana, i think on a branch.
Hallo Ame
Then a really good delivery to 6:03:03. I will not upload any pictures. Please you do that. It is this time very beautiful. It should not appear everything double
EDIT: 6:25(I have pictures, if it should not be upload)
An eaglet is eating, one sits near the Microfons. I do not know who, who.

6:18, it is M in the nest and eats, as always. P calls, replies M
and a crow and a raven are nearby. A motorboat I've heard. It's the weekend
Now 6:20 a adult eagle calls and Sartas answers

There was a short disput at 7:10:28

I think it was about a small piece of food.
EDIt: I forgot to write _ 9:04 M rubs her bottom on the nest floor.

good morning!
either the first snow has rained or the eaglets have had a white bird for breakfast.
i'll look up the delivery as soon as the Pontu video is downloaded. it's a big file so it will take time...
at the moment the nest is empty and there aren't any voices either.

it squeaks so strange around 9:58. I can not assign it. Maybe an iron bar from the microphone?

i just opened the camera to see that there is an adult in the nest. my picture is so jerky and stop&go that it's difficult to see which one it is..?
it might even be Sartas. i think i can see rings on his legs.
anyway it has been there already for a while and apparently it has eaten what it brought. now it is cleaning the nest.

yes, it was Sartas. it's so nice to see him, too, for more than 2 s.
here he is planning to leave at 12:20.
in fact he had came already at 11:46. there was a hard rainshower which started a little before he came.
i made a gif of the first 20 pictures of his stay. each picture is shown for 2 s.
here's the video which i recorded. it's not good at all: the picture freezes for several seconds every now and then or vanishes altogether at times. maybe Y-tube can fix it a little.
12:26 sound of distant thunder.

i think she has called for the eaglets to come and eat only once right after they had fledged. after that first time both parents have just stood on the nest and waited if anyone will come.

here's Lubana coming home for her late evening snack. she waited for a while, listening (and i think i heard some eaglets screaming far) but she didn't wait long but started eating her fish herself. On 15 Aug 2014, 20:47 Liz01 wrote:20:42:15Lubana is in the nest a brought fish
