Our Latvian colleagues managed to install almost perfect BS camera.
That seems to be an holidays gift, a greeting card with audio option or something like that...
And pairs behavior is promising for successful breeding season.
Great!
Hope Janis will provide additional information soon about that nest site history and other concerning peculiarities.

it sounds here like the nest of Durbe and Robert. It's probably a small brook below the nest.

Good morning! Maybe we have here a battery failure of the first moment? The Pontu cam ran until 2:25 in the morning. It was not very sunny and bright, with rain yesterday.
