hmh! little Durberts is still peeking out. he is not sleepy.
a grey heron flies by shrieking loud. and speaking of loud: there's a robin (i think ) shouting into the microphone.

now it's quickly getting too dark to see anything, not even the white fluff-featherball under Durbe.

i'm afraid there's something wrong with the sound...?

i suppose this is Robert. i can't even guess properly because it put head under wing just when i opened the camera and i couldn't see the face.


Wisteria, are you sure that you did not try when the camera was still off for the local dark time?

you can check if the camera is on in the Pontu archive here:

go to the very bottom line and refresh the browser screen a few time. if the last number on the right is increasing then the camera is on.

the last line is the Pontu video file which is being recorded now. the filename is in the first column and it tells the time when the file is started, today at 5:19 (EET). the last number is file size (kB) that will keep growing till the file is closed and the next will start. the camera is kept on also in night time but not always.
yesterday the camera stopped at 22:43 and kept a break. today the camera has started 5:20 EET. i see that you posted your mail before that. i think that you have tried to open the camera in the camera's sleeping time. better luck next time!

she managed to pull out a big feather while preening.

hmh, MakeAGIF has gone through a major transformation over night, and not necessarily to the better. the gifs now need a photohost and one can't get a direct link to them. maybe.
