Owlets are still very little. But there will be enough food to get them big and healthy, I hope.

It was horrible storm and downpour ( 30 l per square meter) in the nest area and owlets were frightened.
Image
But when the storm calmed down and they heard mom, the biggest owlet ( he is really big)Image started to peck two smaller ones.

Owlet alone. There is a big prey in the nest (big bird?)

The biggest owlet for the first time was sitting in the entrance and watching the world outside, when mom arrived with food.
Image
Even then the owlet didn't want to go down, and mom had to squeeze through the entrance :rotf:

Today two older owlets were sitting in the entrance, but one of them jumped out. So now one is in the entrance, one inside.

Mom is around, I can hear her voice almost whole time. She delivers prey inwards the nest box, but sometimes owlet in the entrance can take over a prey ( I saw it once today)

Owlet spends more and more time alone in the nest. There is always lot of prey, no hedgehogs this year, they have mostly big black birds.
