Thank you, Giuseppe! So beautiful pictures from a black stork family. It seems to me, that the black storks love this river. :2thumbsup: Maybe, this family have a nest in the nearby from this river, where they breeded in this season.

Hi Birdfriend - The closest black stork nests is 18 km away, has successfully bred 3 last year and this year too young black 3.Čáp in our region is relatively vzácný.Odkaz the picture from 2014. Today I was again on the Olza time 11: 30-12: 30 and I could not find them. The past days have been with us a large temperature until yesterday was cold, so the storks probably rested, fed before continuing the journey, and it may continue to the south. We will wait until 15:30 to new data from the GPS.

Great, Giuseppe! It seems you are a very good birds observer. Thank you for the pictures about this nest. In our smalltown gives it since 2013 a white stork nest. In the last season the parents had three chicks, in this season are it two. It's very interesting they to observe. :2thumbsup:

I found them in the riverbed in search of food. There are 2 2 young and old, that I was surprised that I have not seen a ring on one leg. I compared the times crossing, it should sedět.Přikládám photo storks from bed and alder environment here where they move a lot of the pond the Czech and Polish side of the border, flooded mine depression and depression, mown meadows and unkempt, an ideal habitat for the storks.
