Yarko asked what we did last year? We watched this:

June 20th p.152-154‏

It was a quiet day in the nest, four quick visits by parents.

Donna 7.48 - Quick breakfast, from touch-down to take-off: 20 seconds!
Maybe Padis, maybe Donna 8.59 ( 25 sec. )
Donna 13.23 with her favourite food, frogs, for her chicks.
Padis 16.05.17-16.06.19

Chicks were stretching wings and legs, practising standing on one leg. According to Mutikluti - "Miss Little is able to stay on one leg as her parents... Mr.Mid practices this and Mr.Big wants too stay on one leg but he can practice it between other chicks..." In the evening Mr. Big was standing in the same position for more than hour. It seemed he has been learned to sleep standing.
It started to rain in the nest forest after nine PM.

Not very busy on forum either, one quick visit by Urmas promising to go to the nest on Sunday. Storkaholics were talking about Mr. Big's toe (it seemed the toe was getting better) and X-shaped legs.

From Visitor´s summary
Great memories!

Oh yes, the toe. I had forgotten how poor Urmas was pestered about the toe and leg--many of us were so sure that "Mr." Big (as she was know then) had a deformity! Bless his heart for climbing back up and checking what turned out to be nothing!

Thanks for posting, Juta!

BTW does anyone know exactly what items Urmas collected from the nest during his visit?
Just curious. :puzzled:

Here is Lili's pic from June 16.

And here is my pic from 5 minutes ago. Does anyone agree with me - that bed has been slept in recently? Maybe it's my imagination -

It seems a bit strange, but maybe the rain has caused that.

We can check pontu pics to be sure. (okay during the night there is no punto) :innocent:

15.30 (3.30 pm): empty nest and a rather quiet forest. only one lonely blackbird whistling somewhere rather far from the nest.
