14:13:40 she flew away

Ame, It is so big, that I thought, it must be a girl.
Robert is a beautiful, strong eagle man. The girls love him. :whistling:

i now have videos of the strange eagle. they overlap almost a minute but i'm too lazy to trim the videos. mostly it just stood on the nest and looked around the forest, especially in the latter part.

also i get a crush on every male eagle daddy.

i heard eagle's calls twice from here, too.
14:58 before the first time a big bird flew over the forest to the left. this was probably not an eagle because it looked very dark. the wing beat was rather slow though... eagle or not? :puzzled:

15:00 distant eagle's calls together with a loud airplane.

15:10 the second time it sounded like a female voice, preceded a buzzard (i think).

15:32 probably the same un-ringed eagle as earlier arrived. it is looking around suspiciously...

and calls. it is a she, i think. :D
i guess it is also the eagle whom i heard calling earlier.

I just came from outside and what was happening could perhaps be described as what Ame calls "flying circus"
Seriously, I understand nothing

a ringed young Lithuanian?? black year ring.

two eagles flew away??

L0?1 reads the code. maybe L011?? :dunno:
Image
15:47 out it flew.

edit: i made a very slow-motion close-up clip of the young Lithuaninan' rings. it in 1/16th of normal speed. i think it is clear the the code is L0?1.

an adult couple both without rings.

and the male has very similar tail spots as Robert. if it is Robert his foot has healed.

the female flew away. the male stays (or vice versa).
edit: it was vice versa. the male flew away and the female stayed.

this is very interesting.

We have seen FIVE eagles on the nest... Three subadults (one of them with rings) and the couple of adults that still stands on the top of the tree.
