Liz, 18:43 there was a big bird visible on the right above corner, and 18:44 on the left above.
And yes, the forum is strange today...

Yes, this is exactly what I meant. In the last few minutes it turned back to normal. Hope it remains so.

There was some maintenance by EEnet in the afternoon, most probably this are still some effects of that.

it works not on the left side the branch. the twig is to big. so he hops back in the nest, jumps on the right branch and flew away

LK ist very strange today :slap:
Liz, I wanted to call Latvian Police! :rotf: Shameless Raven!

I was on a ride back home, I laughed and cried while watching it. I remembered all the disputes of D&R while putting each of the branches, and this one just took and broke it :slap:

Ame,

Most of the day I watched on the Iphone but couldn't write.
Now I'm back home and want to add something about this evening.

After the "extra small hubby" came in, around 19:07 as written, he looked around for the Giant who didn't follow him.

He flew away shortly after, but about 10-15 minutes later (19:25+), when it was much darker, we heard loud calls of 2 eagles who flew to the nest. Few minutes later they called again for long time near the nest, almost in it.
I was waiting long time to hear them coming in the nest, but all I heard was a concert of many birds singing their night song in very loud voices.

So we'll have to wait for Liz will to tell us if they slept in the nest.

Good Night :offtobed:

I think, at the beginning the male eagle was on the left branch?
And the female came in the nest, as the eagle hopped on the left branch in the nest? :puzzled:

good morning!

both are still sitting on their branches. :innocent:
Image

a while ago the bird in the front showed its tail. it looked like the female of the young couple. i think it must be them.

7:21 they sang a morning song. the female is in the front.

then both pooped i think (the picture froze on the critical moments). they are maybe leaving soon. or maybe not.

well spotted Shanta!

i think it was a young eagle who was mobbed by a raven. it seemed that the eagle was able to increase their separation as they flew by.

after a while the raven seemed to fly back to the right.
