In very beginning of the second video of your latest, ame, when Uku raises up, his left side feathers look very pooped, or is it something else white?

In the second latest video by ame it looked almost like a pecking just a second before #1's poop shot - but I believe it was rather a swing in the wind, maybe a push off position for PS, as #2 did not go to submissive position.

15:14 Uku brought a fish with some garnish.

the fish was belly up but i think it was a pike. the back seems to spotty. besides the reeds are from shallow water where the pikes are to be found in the spawning season.

edit: finally i have a video of the delivery. it took longer than i expected. :slap:

15:35 A stranger youngster appears. Anna yells constantly like a car alarm. The stranger doesn´t mind: Lady, what´s your problem, I´m just sitting here in your balcony...

15:48 Left. And Uku arrived.

An arrogant juvenile on the balcony, Anna furiously alarming
The juvenile has got a free education, a Summerhill case perhaps

Anna is calling less now. she is either getting tired of alarming or she does not take this brat quite seriously. i dont' think that it is no real threat i think. it's only curious. 8-)

but where is Uku? if he comes then the youngster will be out in a flash.

Let's hope the intruder will not attack....

In the Netherlands a female younger Eagle attacked and captured a nest last week with 2 young eagles and an adult WTE. The 2 young eagles didn't survive the attack and were thrown out of the nest.

Uku arrives 15:49 and the juvenile is away.
But I only hope it doesn't bother this family any more as long as the chicks cannot defend themselves.

Don't be so sure of it... An intruder can attack and capture the nest...

I agree, the larder of so much food can invite unwanted visitors ... The juveniles' first way to get food is to steal it.

hmmm... i'm not sure of much anything. but there's no reason to 'paints devils on the walls' (i.e. worry in advance about things that may never happen).

Ferenz, you captured the tip of the wing of the youngster in your 3rd picture.

Anna left and Uku came to 'shelter' the chicks 16:04
But the chicks call for food - and Uku is still confused, poor guy ...
By now - maybe thrown by the wind - the half egg shell lies further from the nest bowl, near the fish
