Today I mused a bit about possible hatching dates, but came to no conclusion - as Lotte preferred this new place and laying eggs in secret :D

As far as I see it in cam view there is still no food in stock, so we probably still have to wait for important things to happen ...

Maybe Stefan Brücher will give a guess about hatchings in the next news .....

New statement in the EGE diary today:

"Schneller Brüter
Montag, 25. April 2016

"

Now then there are two owlets hatched till Monday-morning! :bounce: :bounce:

Surprise - surprise! :loveshower:

Our "secret" Lotte gave us the first peeks on her owlets

Today in the morning at 05:44 she went out and hatching was already in progress

Now, at 12:58, she was preening some of her chest feathers and for a short moment a white fluff ball is visible

I really can´t say it for sure .... I think I saw only one owlet moving .... or?

When cam operator tried to focus it, it went more blurry than sharp ...

One or two? Difficult question... hmmm.
I agree with you, Bea. Your last video shows movements of one owlet. But I'm not sure.

Riitta :hi:

Same here with me .... at first sight I feared it was an owlet :faint:

But having a closer look it is too big and has too many feathers *phew*
