Hello Hellem :hi:
That is a remarkable interesting link ! :2thumbsup: Thank you for posting it.

Thank you also to Urmas, his brother and all the others of ELFi Loodustalgud who made possible that we can watch these lovely storks !

For me the way of construction of this nest is really amazing ! :puzzled:
It is hanging like a lampion between the trees, only fixed at two branches. I wonder that it doesn't fall down.
greetings from Baska

18:34 Karl just arrived, they have greeted...

Then Karl counted the eggs.
Good, four eggs! :D And he settled down to incubate.

Kati is free to leave for lunch and to make a little flying tour in Karula forest.

The pictures in the link are exceedingly interesting. Thank you, Hellem, for sharing it with us!

Seeing the nest from all sides, even from above, is really amazing. It seems that the branch with the camera belongs not to the nest tree; probably it was fastened to the tree because there was no other possibility to fix the cam. Urmas has already written, that installing the cam was very difficult.
It is also good to be seen, how high - and therefore old - the nest is.

Thank you very much, eagle- and stork men and all the others which have helped, for this great webcam and the lot of difficult work you've done! I appreciate this very much.

This pics are very interesting. But I ask me, how holds this nest? It looks to me, as would this nest free hover. :puzzled:

Yes, the nest is really hanging like a lampion. Can it be safe? Probably it is build around some smaller branches of the big, arched branch.
I don't want to paint the devil on the wall, but this kind of construct does not seem to be for eternity.
Hopefully it will still hold for many years.

 Don't worry :D

I believe, that they were sure, that something bad will not happen with this nest, when they did this hard work to install the camera :D

This seems to be a good point of view, Hellem, this sounds plausible.
Then we should push our worries aside.

Good Morning/late afternoon.

Very quiet and peaceful at the nest. I believe this is Kati?

I miss so much of the day at the nest, but see enough to enjoy the storks.

Just before I go to bed I look in and it is usually just past daybreak. Very serene

What I miss during the day I can read about here. :2thumbsup:
