12:34 when I go online, Lotte is feeding her little one.
Image

12:35 Now she is eating herself.

12:38 Mom covers little owlet, but a moment later feeding goes on.
Image
I can't say, which kind of prey it is. :puzzled:

12:54 Now and then little one takes a morsel.
12:57 Feeding is finished. Lotte puts the remains of prey aside.

Yeah .... despite the breeding place is not that good visible than in previous years, one can catch happy moments - as long as it will last and growing plants will not block view completely ...

Feeding began at 12:31 and owlet got already a quite big chunk from Lotte, it had to work with it longer!

12:43
I took the moments from the feeding when owlet was visible, most of the time it was nearly completely hidden under Lotte´s feathers

12:57
Feedings ends and Lotte threw the eggshell out

After one minute feeding is finished.

I have only seen one owlet. I think the second one isn't hatched.

18:54 Lotte makes a break for little one, feeding goes on.

19:00 Remains of prey in the larder again.

As Lotte was away in the evening for a moment, two moving owlets were to be seen and, I mean, a third, very small.
And I think there was also Leo.
Too bad that everything is so hard to see.

Very difficult to see, but it could really be three owlets. At least I think there is nothing more egg-shaped.
It looks as if first Leo appears to have a look at the owlets and quickly takes off as Lotte is right behind him (21:24/21:25)

Lotte was out like a flash and one can hear clacking beaks - an intruder on the ledge?

After several nights with recording fails I had a complete recording from tonight :shake:

Feeding time :D there was prey in the larder. I don´t know what you all can see, but I think I see to hungry beaks.
And one still intact egg, it could also be seen in recordings from the night. We´ll see whether there will be a third hatch at all.

14:03 Lotte interrupts dozing, because there is the sound of a Trush nearby.

14:22 Lotte takes some leftovers of prey for herself. 8-) They were located under her breast.

Deliveries are probably during night time. I am recording, but there are re-starts in the night and then my recording breaks - and most of these breaks I am already sleeping ....
