Thank you all for comments and pictures from today. Tomorrow will be very exciting.
23:00 - An animal is screaming, I think it's a deer.
23:05 - Nothing to see, but now and then I can hear Karl digging in the nest bowl.

It's calm, the birdsong concert is incredible. Over the whole many voiced concert is singing a soloist, the mysterious master singer, the melody has endless variations..

this bird sings beautifully. What for Bird is it? I never heard it before.

I did not know that you're up so early. Otherwise I would have waited

Congratulations for the new stork :chick: and Kati and Karl!

One may wonder if it is only by chance that our President will meet today with the President of Estonia just to day, on the 17th May, the birthday of the first chick of Queen Kati and King Karl! :D

09:23 - I saw the little storklet in the nest :faint:
Karl was doing a little house work. It seemed like he was trying to give the little one some food but I didn´t see that s/he got some. Photobucket doesn´t work for me this morning, so I can´t post a picture.

I think I may have heard this chick at about 2.20 but everything was dark and I could not be sure.
