11:33 - 11:50

I hear three voices. The 3. voice from distance is louder than before, the voices seem desperate.

Our eaglets only got their names a little before they were ringed.
In the very beginning they were called S, M and L for a while.
After that that we called them E1, E2 and E3.
I can tell that people loved them as much as today, whatever the names were. :D

the lost son probably has good luck in disguise and manages his meals down there better. his siblings lost their food more often

12:03:33. An eagle (eaglet) flew away to the right. Now begging sounds are quieter. Is this Rahu flying  :puzzled:

That is what I thought also. It looked like an eaglet. And the squealing moved with it. Taibu and Nord are where they were before. It makes sense (if Rahu really has learned to fly by now. Wouldn't be a big surprise.) He just went after the parent who visited parents' branch with a fish and then flew to the right. Waiting for video.
Edit: I am not sure which one of the parents is now with that squealing eaglet. To me it sounded more like Uku when it was on parents' branch (in the "fog") but more like Anna after it flew to the right.)

Pirjo & Bosse wrote:Dear friends, nature- and birdlovers,
the last months have been overwhelming...!
A new world - the world of the White tailed eagle (in Swedish Havsörn = See eagle = See adler (D)) has been opened to us.
Every possible minute we have been watching the live "show" - (Swedish state-TV reported about the live stream in mid-April) with all its ups, and more recently, the downs..:-(
Suddenly we were able to have a look into a new world...
Though, it took some weeks before we discovered the Forum, and since then we have been reading it each and every day, but this is our first posting.

Since we don´t know how much more there will be to see, after the nest-disintegration and the possible loss of Rahu, we´ll take the opportunity to thank everybody who made it possible: Renno Nellis and Eagle-Urmas Sellis, Omar Neiland & Triin, Mutikluti, Ame Ader, Jo UK and translator Liis- and not to forget ETS NORD godfather of the projekt (probably we´ve forgot someone).
And of course all you members of the forum, whom we shared all thoughts and ideas and pictures/films with. You added an extra dimension to the WTE-adventure - we have shared all your feelings - and there have been plenty of them.. We have had many good laughs reading, but also tears in our eyes sometimes..
THANK YOU all for your never-ending spirit and commitment!

About the technics: electronic equipment and rain & heat is not an ideal combination. With that in mind we should be thankful that it all is working so well.
And the sound is just excellent - we have birds singing indoors... ;-)) Particularly the Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) and the Nightingale (Luscinia luscinia). The first one more stubborn, and the last one just a wonderful virtuoso.

Now we visitors have an obligation (surely many of you already did..) and that is to give a financial support to Looduskalender, for securing more wonderful and real "adventures" in the future. See link:
http://www.looduskalender.ee/n/en/node/15

We are looking forward to what will happen next - a little calmer now when Rahu is heard...

P&B
To the point! I was thinking about the funding issue yesterday but I didn't look for the page with the bank details. I cannot imagine more meaningful "media experience" - as I've said before, the WTE nest cam beats mainstream television. Of course this was not meant to be entertainment - the research purposes are the basis for the work - but as we have seen here, Foorum also provokes not only debate on nature/human relationship but *all kinds of feelings*. For me, it has become a key source of entertainment, too. Entertainment with purpose. Thank you everyone.

Definitely!! I too, think that he flew after one of the parents.

PS. I was mistaken in timecode earlier. It's 12:03:33, not 12:03:55.

Here's a pic:

Mutikluti, can you do a movie clip for us from 12:03:28, please?
The sound was definitely moving with that eagle from left to the right as he flew!

Raining is not a problem for them, I only hope that the wind won't be to strong...
The forecast is good, no storms.
