I have added a link with information from the 'Questions and Help' pages. It is a bit old but I think it is still correct. Maybe there is a new entry somewhere but I can't find it.
Basically you need a Photohost like Photobucket where you can upload your (resized) image. It makes a link ('direct link') for you that you can then add to your post. You place this link between the IMG brackets: click the 'img' button above your message.

13:11 blue ringed eagle at home

hello, friends,

at about 11:40 two eagles landed and doing some nestwork.

an hour later one eagle left

Both are ringed!
leaving eagle red over blue (right talon) black over silver (?) (left talon)

at 13:12 blueringed stll on left branch

Today is a happy day!
