I have watched it for a couple minutes and I have seen that the little one was in very fighting mood.hyypiö wrote:Today SE17 was hungry and angry.
Mantling delivered fish and pecking the parent. Trying to attack its head.
It was really funny to watch! Little one is a very dominant chick (female?)...

Nice pictures, Birdfriend!
I have forgotten to post the picture the other day (made on Sept.8th).
Flock of lorikeets has visited (more precisely - attacked) the nest tree when the parents were out for fishing.
They are horribly noisy and chatty. They were curious what the creature is in the nest and flew around but were not courageous enough to land next to our eaglet. Our eaglet seemed to be in kind of shock because of that noise, it could not move, it was lying on its belly without movement and sound. Probably praying: "I am not here, I am not here. Mam, Dad, come and save me!"
And maintaining "low profile"
Those wonderful birds bothered it at least 20 minutes (but it last probably much longer). Funny stuff!
Our little raptor is still only a "baby".
