He is breeding in Karula National Park, Estonia and was possible to observe through must-toonekurg webcam on his nest. For example such a clip. Karl was caught in foraging grounds (small stream) about 1,5km of nest site. After trapping he did not visit nest for two days, but then common behavior restored. Also he did not learn to avoid nets for trapping, instead ate almost the fish in traps also later (but nobody wanted to re trap him, of course). Autumn migration started at 8th of August 2016.
