Normal name in Estonia, for instance.
But I strongly agree that it is not worthy of putting too much energy into debating names for someone whom we may never see again.

That was a busy day! I was at work and could only take a quick glimpse occasionally. :slap: A pity! Thanks for all the videos and pics, that has been a lot of work!
Did anyone recognize the strange adult(?) male that arrived with Spotty/Lace on the nest? Was he totally new? Not Triangle, I believe.
Tramp owns the nest, at least for the moment  , and was again very courageous by chasing the stranger away.
Little Spotty is a lovely, Italian style girl: dark "hair", elegant and slim head and body but an awful lot of energy! Tramp looks happy, again! And they like flying together, that's nice!
The problem is that once they're sitting on HIS nest, they won't really know what to do next, I think. :whistling: He will need some imagination, or this sexy girl will soon get bored and say addio

(i'm still not used to your new red legs... )

both eagles are at home. the girl lies on the nest and she is talking to the other on the top branch. i suppose that's Tramp.

I have problems myself with the new picture. :rotf:
But it fits better to my Youtube channel. I had a Echinicea as a picture. Now I have the same picture everywhere. I will never change it again

7:39 he came down to the nest. yes, it is Tramp with his big tail spots and the right angle on the wing.

they are tramping around... no apparent lovemaking.

the strange male yesterday was not Triangle. this is the tail of Triangle on Feb 15.

this is the strange male yesterday. he has thicker spot on the left side of the row of spots making a horizontal line. Triangle had the thicker spot on the right side.

Ame, you remember a visit from an eagle, in the late evening. We realized it was a strange eagle. DD forum thought it is the female. I believe that the tail mark looks like the same as by this eagle??? I have no time to scroll back

I reached the same conclusion: must be this event. Pages 60-61.
But Ame reached the conclusion that this eagle was older than Lady. She had quite a white tail. And the current girl is younger than Lady.

Btw, Feb. 10 was almost three weeks ago - a bit more than just a few days  Time flies!

on Feb 10th! :rotf:
that was a long time ago. and many eagles ago.

i looked at the video. it was certainly not the girl. it was an adult eagle with pure white tail. i thought then that it was perhaps an eagle from some other territory nearby, on the way to its own territory, someone who came to look what was going on here.

9:32-33 they call, mostly the male. Did they call at swans who came too close?
Looked like the girl was not quite sure about the necessity of calling
