the weather is terrible, wind, rain... but the kids are protected!
please click on the text for a video
hopefully the Dads can hold the nest. there are still attacks from another Eagle pair. It is supposed,
a pair which had a nest in the near and lost it by strong wind wants to take over this Trio-nest.

Thank you, Biker, for your update about this nest. Not good to read that all! I hope, that Valor1 and Valor2 can hold their nest and protect the eaglets.Biker wrote:two pictures from the day

Trio Eagle nest
Both Dads together for a short moment on the nest.
... after then a feeding.

The little siblings are together one day only, but the older knows very well, that s/he should be the first in the nest... so s/he pecks the younger one :)

Rainy day also in Hanover, Pennsylvania!
these birds are totally wet and soak I hope the little ones are fine.
"I don't think I've ever seen these eagles this drenched! The bones in Mom's wing are so evident/pronounced." (from the chat)
BUT: They would be able to adopt some hungry, poorly fed eaglets and raise them Plenty of fish in the nest...

Wow, look at these guys, grow up so fast.
In meanwhile one Dad is incubating the not viable egg, Both Valors are magnificent.
