Good morning all together ! :hi:

It is so nice to meet you here again and to wait together for the arriving of a healthy Karl.
I cannot describe how impatient I am to see him here and to see a successful alignment of the nest.
And then to see a successful brood.

Thank you all for doing feasible this topic again ! :2thumbsup: :D

A nice and happy season for everybody !
greetings from Baska

Good morning Baska, Macko and Liz.
Looking at the migration map, I have the impression that Karl is travelling faster in the last 48 hours. We need to keep eyes on the nest!

Hello all,
it is getting more and more exciting. Most likely tomorrow we will see Karl :D.
Even though all of you probably know Karls position, I'll put a picture in here. It is hardly to believe, that he is already in front of the Latvian border. :faint:
Of course Kati is not forgotten! Hopefully she also has a safe journey and will be back soon. :2thumbsup:

Yes, one day left. But the nest is :banghead: It will be a hard job for them to repair it.

As soon as they arrive they will start to build a "boundary wall" around the perimeter. That should keep eggs and very young chicks safe, at least.

On second thoughts, maybe the very first activity will be mating behaviour. It took them no time at all, last year
