Finally he understood that life will be better outside :loveshower:

Be well XXL-Small ! You can work in the town orchestra with your nice sounds :whistling: :rotf:

Maggy, it's a Friday eve, like Big last week and like others before. I watched him leaving in the car, while out for shopping.

Last year or before, they were near and I heard them during the night. It was interesting.

I hope we'll get some pics soon :2thumbsup:

Good night to all and see you very soon at the Ospreys or BS.

Thanks a lot for the videos, Shanta! :2thumbsup:
I loved the last delivery and wanted to see it again. Small couldn't get the frog from the window, who pushed them inside, Klaus?

Thanks to everybody who was around, reporting, loving this family, wishing well to Small and the other owlets.
There was a difficult time when we were not sure about Small. It was good to know that other people were worried about Small as much as I was.
Parents surprised everybody with hares and after that things started looking up.
What a wonderful family! :loveshower:
Though every season there are some very sad moments, this year fighter Small got to grow up big and beautiful. What a treat! That was just the best part of the season! 8-)

The 3 last days with him were a real pleasure

We think that he had 2 different digestion systems :rotf: He was singing happy songs showing he ate enough,
and at the same time - he was calling for food "I'm Hungry"
No one did it before, only our cute small

Today he slept a lot and his body was moving a little most of the time.
He jumped-flew to the window many times like an adult, he was really ready for life, much more than his sibs who were big but not experienced like him.

I hope he will survive the first period and will have a good life.

Yes, Abigyl, you were right, Small did wait for Friday eve not to break the tradition! :D

I'm not sure if we'll be able to hear them this year. It's been already a week out for Big.
And after Small leaving I haven't heard anything. It sounded as if they jumped somewhere. Small was ready to jump into their new life full of new interesting things!

Maggy,

I heard him last night too, sometimes near and others - far.

This morning at 06:55 and around 07:10 there were strong movements on the roof. No begging. I didn't listen after it.

Thanks to everybody who made this cam possible. It's been a wonderful time watching the owlets and their parents who did a very good job and who did not forget Little when it stayed alone in the box. :loveshower:

May they all have a happy life :loveshower:

Maybe this year somebody also makes a picture of these owlets on the tree like in 2009. They are not far from the nest now.
