In a different context you wrote earlier: 'I prefer to avoid the projection of human values onto animals.' Do you think animals like the cutting of reed beds in this time of year?maertha wrote:A big thank you to whoever cut back the plants.
As a viewer I had no problems with the growth on the other side, only with those just in front of the camera.

I was glad because I thought the problem was solved, but the cam is back to blur again.

It is not bad in two months.Marfo wrote:...Impressive list of birds, by the way.
With no wind and more listening probably the list would have been longer.
But the number of bird species in sight is much lower then seen from my inner city window. On the other hand: I have seen no other mammals than bats from my window.

No. They mowed the reed, and the water is covered with algae.laranjeiras wrote:looks different to me - have they changed the angle/location of the camera?

Compared to the beginning of the transfer, the view is different, laranjeiras.

Since a while (days or weeks, no idea). Now we can see a bit more from the right side of the beaver's home. But because of the mowing of the reed and the high water level seems the difference bigger than it is.

Someone cleared the water with a rake. First behind the cam, later in front. Now we can see it again and it is streaming. What a difference! Thank you for doing this in your own time.

I didn't say it was a problem, It is just amazing all the things that happen to and with this cam.Hagnat wrote:Yes, but as long it is sharp that is no real problem.
An orange rake for instance. I wish I had seen it. There is more human activity lately than animal presence. No one's fault.

in the morning of 22. June ~ 8:00: a pair of Motacillidae. I think White wagtail, but not sure because of the lack of coloration in the transmission.
