thanks Liz! :2thumbsup:
it's so nice to have a known friend to come again.
the information from the previous visit is the following. the bird was here in 8.12. 2017.
8.12. Latvian K091. On the country ring she has the code H357. Jānis Ķuze ringed this bird on 28.05.2014 as an only chick in surroundings of Liepāja city, SW Latvia. Interestingly, it comes from the same nest as K019, seen here on 28.01.2017. This is the first control sighting of this bird.
so this bird is living its 4th winter, that is that she (?) is 5 calendar years old.
the girls who were Raimis' girlfriends before Milda last spring looked a lot like this eagle (by age). 8-)
here's the visit.

the Tube says: "This is taking longer than expected. Your video has been queued and will be processed as soon as possible." i remembered to publish it. 8-)

good morning!
don't you think it was Milda? :puzzled:
i think it was. ..? :puzzled:
her tail looks slightly different at times, depending on how widely spread it is. there are 2 or 3 small spots. sometimes she has two small heart-shaped spots.
Image

sometimes the spots of a heart brake loose when the feathers spread more. here she was shaking herself.

7:27 the light was still poor when she came. that's why it was difficult to see the patterns of feathers on her wing. she went to the left branch.

7:33 she changed to the outer branch and turned round.

8:08 she flew away.

Ame,

For me 2, it was Milda. When she looked at us - it was her.

She came and took the branch that 019 took out yesterday.

She was relaxed and behaved as always, went to the LB.

I've made a video from this stay, too. ... more sharpness and brightness
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4w1w7bQK9A

The eagle had white feathers on the head and on the left side. Milda is not in the moult right now. At least no white feathers are visible on her, at the moment. The eagle was constantly looking around. For me, the feathers in the back area look completely different. Not just the tail mark. Milda's dark feathers form curves on the base of the tail. The base on this eagle looks frayed. :puzzled:

Raimis did some nest work.

13:42 Raimis jumped to the left branch. a little later the big bird flew away from the top.

We heard it all over the house, I forgot to lower volume :rotf:
Since they changed cam, the sound is excellent.

I think that a minute ago he planned another one but she had a migrane :slap:

thank you for the pictures and videos!
i'm glad that they were here for a hmmhmmhmm and had eaten well.
edit: maybe this was not a successful mating after all? :puzzled: Milda didn't lift her tail properly and Raimis like deflated prematurely.

17:12 Raimis was clearly overweight for a second round.

17:14 Milda flew out.

17:15 before leaving Raimis pulled up some really big logs and placed them on the nest.
