Information from ee.net January31.

Links tv.eenet.ee/ do not work with Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 computers? If someone is using Windows 7 then they should use other browsers (e.g. Firefox or Chrome). Unfortunately we cannot fix this as it is a browser not webcam issue. With Windows 8 or above everything should work correctly (but I haven't tested this).

Are the ice floes going to make a solid layer on the surface or not?

This winter the ice is in fact growing and there is a chance for the bay being covered, as the current ice chart shows:

Other parts of Estonian waters are already covered, like we can see at the Matsalu bay (jackal camera).

In Looduskalender news of 15 January 2018 http://www.looduskalender.ee/n/node/2037 it is written that the Matsalu Bay is icing rapidly because it's shallow and its salinity is almost zero. Unfortunately I cannot find this article in English.

Thanks for the map, Felis silvestris, and hint to the article, Summi  It is one of the (many) articles which is not translated any more.

Since Matsalu bay is already covered with solid ice for some weeks I am wondering and observing how situation is developing here in Kasmu bay
