BIG BEAR
chat:
This feeding has been going on for over 18 minutes. Maybe the warmer weather helps. And my, what full crops they have!

Thank you, Solo, for updates and pics.
Dad brings a fresh fish to his kids. Mom left the nest two minutes before Dad arrived.
Mr.BB starts feeding immediately.

An other fresh fish will added to the pantry. Dad is a good hunter.
Earlier there was a shift change, Jackie fed both well, at first only one, but then the younger got also his share.
Today I saw for two times very good ps from the chicks.

Nice pictures and posts!
Thank you, Solo and Birdfriend!
16:45 - Nest Time- it is above freezing at the nest.
37° F / 3° C , so it’s nice to see the Bear Chicks when Jackie Bear got off.
So much food in the pantry! The chicks were bonking each other a bit, and now at 17:03 mom is feeding her bears again. Fish!
This is likely their last meal before dark.
They really are adorable!
Their bodys are now bigger than their heads!

I closed my post too soon!
Mom covered the chicks and at 17:12, Mr Bear arrived with Another Fish!
Jackie told him - enough already!! The nest is replete with birds and fish!
The fish that Mr Bear brought in is a headless beauty too!
Big and dark green in color.

Solo and Birdfriend
Thank you for the updates and the really very nice pictures. I'm glad to see it
There is food enough, every day. But in the early morning all is frozen.
The little ones are growing well. If they are fledged, they will be the strongest chicks I saw.
BB Parents are doing a great job!
Cessie thank you for the infos about temp and nest update

Hello to all here!
Nice shot from the "bobble heads":
Wohu, Mom comes with a new "tree" to the nest.
Dad left the nest and Mom feeds the chicks with a previous fish behind the "tree."

Hello everybody
09:15 I told you not getting out of that bowl, not yet !!
Now you can dance the jailhouse-rock
09:16 I'll feed you both through the prison bars
09:22 feeding both - this place for the nice difficult stick isn't really better
for bringing in the fish&prey, you'd better left it on the other side
Indeed, when these two fledge, they are really tried and tested.
Squeamish, these two really are not.

Mom interrupted the feeding, she placed her tree at the top of the edge.
Then she can feed undisturbed her sweeties, now with an other from these many fishes.
Both chicks are fed very well.
Edit: Mom brought the new "tree."

But I also thought, these young first time parents are really really smart and caring for their first babies in precious way.
They noticed the older one, who was nearly walking outside of the bowl, and looked up for bringing in such a nice difficult twig. Good job

Berry College Eagles
After a change Mom Berry starts with feeding for her chick. The baby is nice chattering with her.
Some minutes after his leaving Dad brings a new big stick to the nest, it will needed.
It's not so easy to find the right place for this new stick.

Big Bear
Fisherman Mr.BB delivers the next fish for stocking the pantry.
Mom is very enthusiastic and greeting him and his fine fish.
Then he left again maybe for hunting the next one...
Jackie, natural, serves this fresh meal for her first offsprings, she is wonderful.
That's the crop from one:
Mom eats herself as the chicks were overstuffed.

Mom left the nest, the chicks are alone for some minutes. The older nibbles on the fishline , she is again visible.
Then Dad comes with a new grass
Dad has cleaned the nest and aerated the bowl.
He does still nest duties.

Breakfast for the kiddos. The dangerous fishline is still there.
...and I see more grass would brought.
I went back and the good Mom brings the bunch of grass. Dad was with the chicks at this time. Then Dad left after morning greetings. So sweet.
