The 2 others are always being fed first, so they don't need to beg. After hares were gone Small didn't have enough food and last 2 night in the box spent in the window calling for food. If parents cannot catch small enough preys that owlets can swallow, not they cannot feed them the other way and probably there are not enough food for everybody.Abigyl wrote:The 2 others never cried a lot, they are not professional beggars like the one & only

I heard it too, few times during the day.
I saw on other Estonian nests that it was windy and rainy today.
Might be this.
Even now you can hear it 23:05
