They are hovering or jumping very high. and across the nest, from one trunk to the other,
What a progress in such a short time

14:51 Fish delivery; A long and black fish.
The one with the "feather in nose" got it and moved it to a corner.
The other is mad about it. He wanted to help with the feather but this caused a fight

This days are not easy for the kids.
Their pre-flight diet started and they are very hungry
I need to put the sound on Mute

It's one of the most important lessons that parents must exercise with kids.
In few months, they'll have to fight for food, they must insist and try to get their prey and protect it well.
We can see that she is "playing" with the food. She lets them taking it from her.
Eagles are very clever and know well how to grow and educate their kids for real life
I am very glad that this year in this nest is succesful with two eaglets
I have followed several LK threads for years and must admit, that discussions (on the threads I follow) are no more as interesting as they used to be. It is always nice to watch pictures, but my best years at LK were when people wanted to discuss - change opinions and ideas, have fun, not only browse an endless line of pictures and read only some few dominating publishers. I mean that when I watch a nest live, I don't need to get pictures of the same time minute for minute ... Only special incidents would be enough.

Owlie,
not everyone has the opportunity to see a nest live. Many have to work.
For me, it's nice to see everything here, what happens at the nest when I'm sleeping or working.
I can not remember that there were better discussions here. I'm here just as long as you, actually longer
I saw an endless copying of American, Danish and Norwegian chat here in the forum. Also copies of Facebook. There was little own thought or opinion. Basically just the opinion of the other chats ..

Thank you for sharing
Liz, I expressed my opinion, and I stand for it. If you feel yourself hit, it is your problem, my opinion was not meant personally to anyone.Liz01 wrote:...

Since this morning, there was enough food on the nest.
Before 6 am, while it was still dark, kids were begging for food.
A parent came down to the nest (Mom?), and made a special inspection. Every corner and each stick were checked; looking for leftovers.
Nest was clean!!
After 8 am, Kids got early breakfast.
at 12:20 they got a big fish.
