In the last weeks they are killing and poisoning with gas, hundreds of kids and families, and the world is not saying a word
They don't care about humans, you want them to care about the birds?

Abigyl , all what you wrote about humans happens in Syria, not in Lebanon

Most of the Cranes flying over the Netherlands in spring are on the West-European flyway and probably go to Germany and Sweden, although there is a connection between Northern Germany and Estonia/Finland on mainly the Baltic-Hungarian flyway.Fleur wrote:this morning I saw 24 Cranes flying over our house in the nord of the Netherlands, they going to the east. our time 8:32 Estonia time 9:32
Btw, Thanks to the Eastern winds the last week thousands of Cranes flew over the Eastern part of the Netherlands, especially last Saturday.

Hellem, thank you so much for the link to these articles. Very interesting.
Loode's route is frightening - I'll have to read the article with the assessment again.
Ahja's pattern is nearly self-explanatory.
It is amazing how strong they are. The distance they cover per day/night is incredible.
