Eedi flew over Karak Nouh, a small village located in the Beqaa at the eastern foot of the Mt. Lebanon range.
According to popular beliefs, the Beqaa valley used to be a lake. It is believed that Noah’s ark would have landed here, after the flood. In a building adjoining the village mosque, there is a long sarcophagus draped in a green cloth. It is claimed to be the tomb of Noah.
