this is also my concern, they are away for too long to make this nest homeMarfo wrote:The eagles are here for one or two days and then they don't come for several days. It has been like that for a long time. Maybe they are working on more nests at the same time? And choose a nest later?

Hello everybody,Marfo wrote:The eagles are here for one or two days and then they don't come for several days. It has been like that for a long time. Maybe they are working on more nests at the same time? And choose a nest later?
I believe it will be clear soon.
Gunnar said: According the datas from the trailcam study I can say that in our latitude here in Estonia first egg laying date median is 21. of March (8. March-5.April).
As long as we can see both eagles together on this nest, there probably are no eggs on some other nest.
One of them would be brooding and guarding the egg(s), I think.
Triin said: Female should be incubating and caring for the young most of the time....
Today we didn't see both, isn't it? Only the female.
(The last time they were together here was on April 1th.)
Cross my fingers.

(Did she decide she could need a little bit of straw for laying her precious egg? We will see soon. )
Yes, the weather has been very cold. Maybe they postponed the egg-laying a little.
Thanks Liz for all pics!

That's hopeful news.

I never see her.
Good thing I can read here. I'd think Nest would be completely abandoned.
It looks nice the way she tweezes on him.
