Owl family is doing well. Parents work hard to feed four hungry owlets, many birds and rodents are brought every night.
The smallest owlet always tries to take a pole position under mom's belly between her legs, as close to prey and mom's beak as possible. But siblings are higher

Mamicja, do you have any idea whether the Eagle owlets in Israel will get rings? It would be high time now ...

The female has a ring .... male not ...

Although the Hebrew web page contains more information than English, I could not find any announcements about it.
Anyway, searching for information in a completely unknown language is not easy
At the moment the broadcasting is not working, maybe it is just going on?

Thanks Mamicja,

I also already tried to find it out via the Hebrew and English webpage and found no hint --- but still had the hope that you could have another source :D :book:

Cam is offline already since the morning, so I suppose it is no offline-time for a special purpose .... I fear more that the owlets have made some nonsense .... the last days they were often busy near the microphone and maybe there are some important cables, too

Lately there is not much food in the nest, owlets have a good appetite.

Mom often leaves them alone in the nest, I have not seen male for a long time.

The owlet, which was exploring the "roof" of the cave, came hopping back down to its siblings at 00:22
I think hunger drove it back, there were deliveries in the meantime .... but downstairs :D

At 15:04 all four owlets in the cave, and Mom a bit separatet in her corner upstairs

Update on DRI GHO, Reno, Nevada
NVDeptofWildlife
Here’s our final update on the Great Horned Owls that have been living at DRI for the last three months. Both young owls have left the nest and are doing great! We have observed both owls eating well and the parents still active in the area and engaging with the young owls frequently.
Because the owls will begin to travel further and further away from the nest each day, DRI and NDOW will not be able to observe them nor can we track them to provide continued updates.
This has been an amazing experience for everyone involved and it has been incredible to observe this phenomenon up close. We would like thank everyone at DRI and NDOW who made this live camera possible.......
Thank you to everyone who watched and helped share this incredible story. We will be turning the camera off tonight.
