Leo this morning

Lotte could be heard but not seen. I do not think she's brooding somewhere or that there are any owlets in this year. In the evening you rarely hear anything.

Leo was on the 2017-nestplace in the evening, scratching ....

Currently I don`t (can´t) do night recordings .... recordings over hours produce huuuuge data files since they got fiber optic cable at the cam.
The device I can use for night recordings is a bit overchallenged with it ... I will have to find any other solution :puzzled:

A corvid was harrassing Lotte, she made some artistic moves, but the corvid even touched her head and so she took off

Video upload will take a bit time (youtube is so slow :banghead: ) and I´ll try to make a slow-mo of the corvids attack

No, in Eifel were several big thunderstorms with lots and lots of rain, even little river Ahr has high water level.

After a long break, I heard owls :loveshower:
One of them was sitting on top of hill and then flew close to the cam.
Image

Unfortunately cam operator did not show it. I heard the owl flying away from the ledge after a short time.

Good morning (if anyone is there) :hi:
I hope so much that we see Lotte and Leo in the closest season ... I hope both are still alive. After this summer, you really have to hope ...
