The cracks in both pictures are on different places on the egg(s). The dark point, I've seen at 13:13:19, was more on top of the egg, - but much bigger than the pip in Liz' picture from 13:13:07. So do we have maybe cracks in more than one egg? :puzzled:

it is probably 2 different eggs :puzzled: (within hatching time the first two storklets isn't usually - very - long time)

17:06 Kaupo digged the nest bowl and rolled the eggs very careful, one over the other :D.
From 17:05 - 17:08 I could hear egg talk again. But a crack was not to see.

Just now, 17:23, I've heard a bird, that sounds like a WTE. Or was it another bird, who imitates them? A Jay?

Edit:
Anne, Solo, you're welcome :). Solo, thanks for your answer. I think also, that cracks are at least in two eggs.

Edit 2:
17:26 The "WTE" called again.

The bird was a black woodpecker. They sometimes sound very similar to WTE

the crack... hole is a bit bigger now.
now I have forgotten the exact time. :slap: It was to the end of the digging. Ohhh! I have noted the time 17:40:47!

Thanks Liz! Just now, 18:09, he calls again, quite long, and this time it was more obvious, that it was not a WTE. :D

Beside of these tiny dark points in two eggs I didn't saw a bigger hole. Also the quite big dark point from 13:23 I haven't seen again. :puzzled:

I'm excited if tomorrow until dawn a storklet has managed to break the shell. But I think, this is not certain. The cracks are still very small.
