P.S. There is another Barn owl s cam, where I used to peek for a few seconds only... with 5 owlets and with extremely tiny youngest chick.
I was told 5 minutes ago that the youngest one did not make it
I was not able to witness his/her starving, just posting this info for you.

Located at the Vashon Island, in estuarine inlet at the Pacific coast, close to Canadian border.

Owlets are hungry today. They nibble mom's feathers and talons.

Ural Owl, IIzuna, Japan

The little chick in Japan grew up nicely and I was told that its fledging is expected around 19th-20th of May.
The owlet got a name Konoha.
This camera has an incredible sound... (Japanese... experts in sound systems :2thumbsup: ) so you can enjoy owlets cute squeking, scrape of its talons on the wooden floor, even pooping can be heard  and also moms and Dad s dialogues. When their communication starts Dad usually successfully hunted some prey and Mom brings it in a few minutes to the box.

Single chick is well fed an people say that s/he need to loose some weight since it is overweight :innocent:

Owlets were fed, it's time to hunt

This place looks strange, like inactive quarry. The surroundings of the nest are clearly visible in the ringing video from 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0qePUo-Tvo

A desperate bird is circling above and screaming, maybe trying to protect it's kids.
Is it hunting lesson?

I am not sure I think that the youngest owlet just died (is dying) in Hungary.

I cant watch it...

It had a stucked food (mice feets?) in his throat... was trying to get rid of... but I seen him on the ground!

P.S. I ve got an attack of panic. Sorry for that. The little one is OK.
