Big Bear

The foreign eagle, meanwhile called shadow, appears again and again in the nest.
He must have fallen in love with Stormy.

I know I shouldn't compare with people, but it just happens in different situations and behaviors.
How you say it's interesting to see how they behave and how different they are.

 Birdfriend, I am so glad that you told us about this nest in Kenai, Alaska! :D
Thank you! I’ve wondered why there aren’t any Bald Eagles Nest was a camera in Alaska, there are so many Eagles there!

I try to check Stormy’s nest everyday, along with the other island nests! I never see Stormy. Thanks for the updates!

Westend Catalina

Next one who fledges -i guess- is Aria. I just saw a stunning high hovering from her, out of sight -you can see her shadow in nest- holding that high hover for a few seconds and sail very slowly and gracefully down on nest. It was breathtaking, I was very impressed.

A pity that the cam operator did not see or did not want to follow this awesome hover.

Bawet, how awful!
I hope that they prosecute the people who cut down the eagle trees!!
I love the rustling sounds of the cottonwood trees. I think that is one reason why I like the Alaska nest. Also, it is one of the reasons why I miss Teo and Teja’s Osprey nest. I hope that they are well and that we can watch the cam in July.

Balistar, great pictures!
I saw that there is a video on YouTube of the ringing of the west end eaglet! I will watch it later. :D
