This needs a bit correction: One of the parents brought that rodent and just left it unprepared. After some time one of the young goshawks noticed it and was able to eat piece by piece the most of it. Your capture shows what remained after the meal (mostly fur and skin, although it may look like there is some meat inside :-)).

BTW: I saw that the parent brought two times ringed birds as a prey. The parents normally swallow every piece of the other birds. In both cases I couldn't see if they swallowed the rings. Has anyone noticed what they did with the rings? :-)

Today the main dish was squirrel. Mom had to help, it was tough for youngsters to eat.

All four successfully have fledged, but they still visit the nest to rest and eat
I see you!
